Minister Raquan, whose country leads with the European Union, confirmed that the visa dispute for Kosovo is now found at the national level, where internal consultation is being held among member states.
For the next month, he has warned him of the possibility that the issue will return to the EU Council again. However, Raquan did not give a hint when the visa debate between member states could be completed.
The minister issued these statements after the European Union's interior ministers' meeting, and one day after the first meeting of the visa processing group from which it emerged that France has some additional requirements about liberalisation.
The working group's next meeting, where the visa issue will again be addressed, will be held on November 9th and 10th, while all concerned states have the deadline until October 21st to deposit their written comments to the Czech presidency in order to prepare the next meeting.
