Citaku, in a Facebook post, has said that Kosovo since years ago has fulfilled the criteria for visa liberalisation.

With all due respect, your only contribution to the visa liberalisation process is tear gas to the Kosovo Parliament. Kosovo has met all criteria years ago. That's not what I'm saying, but the European Commission has written Chitaku.

This Citak reaction came after Haxhiu today at a media conference said that the visa liberalisation is optimistic, but as she said, “will not do as past governments have done, because you remember the statements of former prime ministers, former prime ministers in this direction by consistently misleading citizens of the Republic of Kosovo<1>.

I will not do as governments have done. Because you remember the former prime ministers' statements, former presidents in this direction by constantly misleading citizens of the Republic of Kosovo. What I can say is that everything that's up to us, we've done. What I can say is that we are extremely optimistic and have worked on it, especially the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister Kurti, President Osmani and the chairman of the Assembly. So there have been some of the figures that are extremely committed to this. Therefore, we are optimistic that the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo will move freely because it is their right and that it cannot continue thus further”, Haxhi said at the conference.
