Bugayski: EU is tolerating Vucinqi, as Putin once tolerated

But it says that based on previous experiences, it would not work...

I often wonder if this man is gullible or lacks geopolitical experience or if there is something deeper about whether he is personally related to Vuciqi or Eddie Ram. I will not accuse him of corruption as easily as he does other people, because that is the easiest thing to accuse someone without evidence. But, unfortunately, the West, from invisibility, believed the story that he, like a new face, would be a hit after thirty years of DPS rule. Bugayski explains that it is very difficult to find reasoning for some of Abazovic's movements.

If his aim was to sign the so-called fundamental contract and enable the Church of Serbia to get what it wants, to remove that issue from the agenda, he went too far with his hand, because the KOS is now stronger than ever and will be imposed as a very important political actor. And not only as a connection to Vucinqi, but as an open Kremlin window in the Western Balkans. And that's the biggest risk he's ever exposed to the state of”.

He stresses that this US recognition that the DF is financed by Russia came too late, but states that many political actors knew that even before the proclamation.

“But this recognition is a clear US message that it will not support Russian-financed parties in a country that is negotiating with the EU. There have been many mistakes even before such recognition. The West negotiated with the Serbian Orthodox Church, which is a direct link to the Kremlin, because it felt that concessions would calm it, but it doesn't work that way, we know from experience. Western Illusions

He recalled the very complicated financial and economic ties between the EU and Russia.

“Look at the current German administration, and I'm not referring only to Gerhard Schöder, it's the most corrupt government in the world, and that's because of Russian money. And then they complain that the Balkans are corrupt and do not solve the problem at home. Deutsche Bank was the launderer of Russian tycoons' dirty money, so these links are so interlocked”, adds further.

Handing over arms

Regarding the conflict in Ukraine, he says the length of the war will depend on the speed of handing over weapons to Kiev.

Putin's “mobilisation is a sign of despair because the Russian military is undergoing great losses. Eighty thousand soldiers were killed or injured in this war in six months. They lost more soldiers in half a year in Ukraine than in ten years of combat in Afghanistan. They appear to be a military force, the second strongest army, but they are not. I've seen images of pre-World War II devices. Everything Putin's doing now shows despair. You're going to Ukraine by force because you don't have to lose that war. I don't know exactly how long the war's gonna last, but I can tell you, the more weapons Ukrainians take, the sooner they return territories”.

And they are now professional soldiers, unlike these Russians. And as the Ukrainian army becomes a NATO army, certainly weaker than that. Poland is emerging as a new European power

Asked whether after the occupation the new European Union awaits us, Bugajski says there are positive and negative changes.

The positive thing is that all European Union countries have imposed sanctions on Russia and are respecting them. Most member states also offer weapons to Ukraine. However, the negative thing is there is always the danger that if Putin “puts pressure on” Ukraine with more troops, weapons or threats because of nuclear war, some members mean let's leave, let's give them some Ukrainian territories”.

“Finance is coping very successfully with that challenge, but the leader in connection with the invasion of Ukraine is Great Britain, its role is just as big as the US. There is another very interesting thing about the EU that some new European powers are emerging as a result of this war. You see Poland was Ukraine's best ally, see how they accepted millions of Ukrainians, not as refugees, but integrated into society as their citizens, they had free education, health care, no refugee camps, they were literally taken from Polish families”.

And more importantly, most military equipment arrives through Poland, they train Ukrainian forces, they have many Polish volunteers.
