Rishi Sunak, 42, a former banker will be the youngest person to become prime minister in modern history of the United Kingdom, but also the first of Indian origin, as his grandparents lived in Punjab, a region in northern India, ahead of the country's independence from the United Kingdom in 1947.
Biden will talk to him over the next few days, according to a White House announcement.
Britain's former Finance Minister won the conservative Doning Street race, following former Prime Minister Boris Johnson Penny Mordant's withdrawal.
