Arsenijevic: Harmless Putin can no longer send two liters of fuel to Serbia

The leader of the Serbian Civic Initiative in northern Mitrovica, Aleksandar Arsenijevic, does not believe Russia's invading war in Ukraine will affect destabilisation of the Balkans, since he considers Russian President Vladimir Putin can no longer send two liters of fuel to Serbia”. Arsenijevic, during an interview for Kosovo Preress, has spoken [...]
Arsenijevic, during an interview for Kosovo Press, has also spoken of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, who has called him insincere and full of lies, especially against Kosovo Serbs. While for Prime Minister Albin Kurti, he said he has a strong nationalist stance.
“I think the policy which Aleksandar Vuciq is leading is not genuine at all, and it's not real to us Serbs here, so we have such panic actions to citizens, respectively, the big awareness shock, the lies that after ten years against citizens in Kosovo, ranging from victory of 5:0 to all others, while now we see that they reach documents, and that means that he has literally brought bills to the cafe for all that he has eaten in Brussels over these ten years. We are not followers and supporters of Brussels' agreements because the first are not transparent, second, no citizens are instructed in these agreements, so any Brussels agreement except propaganda which so far was presented through the Serbian List in Kosovo, every letter about these agreements, has left us behind. As for the government, Kurti, he has a strong nationalist stance”, he said.
Professor of chemistry who was suspended from work because of his political beliefs, the war in Ukraine has called it the most devastating thing of the 21st century and modern civilization. While he has also talked about the possibility of Russia's influence on instability or not of the Balkans.
According to him, Putin is currently completely powerless and has no possibility of “sending even two liters of fuel to Serbia”.
I can say that both one side and the other are our brothers, so we experience it, and I think this war is the most devastating thing for the 21st century and modern civilization... Putin can no longer send two liters of fuel to Serbia, let alone be any destabilising factor. It is a fact that the Republic of Serbia is surrounded by NATO states and we are not in 1999, 1998, nor in 1992. I deliberately mentioned 1998 because this was the moment when in us northern Serbs Albin Kurti had encouraged some unity, because his first political statement was about the possibility of a war and that Kosovo is better prepared than in 1988, and this discurs, which he repeated several times in the future, means that ordinary citizens give a war rhetoric, to think that it is between the two fires and that it can easily heat up anything”, Arsenievic said.
Regarding the expiration of the deadline for converting plates, he believes that there will be no replay of the July scenes and that something of the form organised by citizens will not happen.
He has cited international pressure for delaying this deadline, which he said would happen, and all sides would be satisfied, while acknowledging that citizens should eventually register their vehicles with license plates from the Republic of Kosovo.
This time around, I consider that nothing similar to the July situations will happen and all will depend on the professionalism of the actions of the special Kosovo police units which are currently in the north... European officials continue to pressure them to continue the deadline, which means that because of such events, the continuation of the deadline will be accepted on Albin Kurti's part as a well - intentioned decision, that Quint states would accept as well, and in the end I think that all citizens will have to register their” vehicles, Arseniviq stressed.
The opposition leader has clarified the meaning of the Serbian Ministerial Name, saying that although he may remember the bad disks in some communities, there is another meaning involving wider spectrum. Arsenijevic announced that the political concept of the initiative he leads is based on improving the quality of life of each citizen.
As for the expression of the opposition political stance in northern Mitrovica, he said it is extremely difficult and with various pressures, where political affiliations cause citizens to lose their jobs, contact with people, friends, etc.
Asked about arrests, attacks, threats against him and his family and the like, he did not elaborate, but said he has experienced all of this.
In spite of all of this, Arsenijevic indicated confident that he would not back down on the road to the progress of their ideas.
In short, it is improving the quality of life of each citizen. When we say Serbia's environment, maybe in some communities remember some bad disks, but that name has generally been cut off from the series Animal Development, where foxes and wild boar live in the same flooded trunk. So this name has a broader meaning than just the Serbian environment... If it's hard, of course yes, it's hard. There have already been several principles of pressure coming from ordinary citizens out of fear of our security and activity... In any democratic society it's not normal that, based on political affiliation, you lose your job, contact with people, you see the dissistance of some old friends from me and their announcements appear on the streets and like, but this is not at all disappointing to us because we look on the other side of philosophy, because such friends have never been needed in life... There's been everything, we don't have to rely on it because the bully just wants to see fear in the man who violates it, but we will never see fear in us. So I'm not afraid or will ever be afraid, and that nothing like this can prevent our path to the progress of our”, the potential Arsenijevic.
