Families of the eight victims and an FBI agent who responded to the attack had demanded at least $550m in the slander trial in Connecticut.
They claimed that misinformation by radio director led to a decade of harassment and death threats.
Twenty children and six adults were killed in Sandy Hook elementary school.
Jones, who founded the web site in charge of conspiracy and talk show Infowars, argued for years that the massacre was a plot of “listed” of the government to take American weapons and that “nobody died”.
He called the parents of the victims <x0 crisis contractors” and argued some of them never existed.
Jones now acknowledges that the attack was “100% true”, in a statement he made in August in a special slander trial in Texas.
