Milo has stressed that there are several compromise options to reach “the final”. He even said that the US and the EU are working on finding an intermediate agreement. On the show “Republic”, Milo has clarified what the intermediate relationship means.
There are also intermediate solutions that I believe the United States and the European Union are working to find inter-competitive solutions. This means Serbia will not become an obstacle to international recognition and reach agreement between Serbia and Kosovo on issues of practical character, useful to both countries, but without claiming Serbia to make formal recognition of Kosovo or exchange ambassadors. So intermediate forms are known, such forms are known in international practices that are big compromises, useful, necessary and inevitable”, he said.
Invited to Tav 1, former Foreign Affairs Minister stressed the pattern of two Germanys that, according to him, this experience can adapt to current conditions and circumstances.
The moment will come and I believe that the international community, the United States and the European Union are looking for these intermediate forms of recognition as it did in 1972, I find it in the United Nations, where the decision was made to accept both separate German states, West Federal Germany and East Germany. The compromise was reached that these two countries were admitted to the United Nations Organisation and accepted, but that does not mean that those two countries connected diplomatic relations between them”, Milo said further.
