The 5-year departure from school in Ferizaj due to its appearance, the manager's dismissal required

According to the KRF, the departure of the child from the director of the U.S.R. “Jeronim De Rada” is contrary to the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, Law No. 04/L-032 of pre-university education and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, as this decision to remove the child has been made on the basis of its physical appearance.

In a media communiqué KRF states that the same action by the Ferizaj Youth Assembly School Management is considering discrimination because it essentially violates fundamental human freedoms and rights.

The Ferizaj Youth Framework urged the Directorate of Education in Ferizaj and August to take the necessary steps to return to school banks and abolish the discriminatory regulation for carrying and raising hairs on boys, as well as to be followed by the dismissal of school principal”, it is said further in response.

In this case “Justice Vow” has contacted the principal of this school, Serve Hajrullahu, to take her stand on the matter, but the same has not responded to calls.

Otherwise, according to Article (47), paragraph (2) of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, the school should provide equal opportunities for each person to be educated according to his particular abilities and needs.

According to Article (40), the principle of comprehensive education, the Law on Pre-university Education, educational institutions should accommodate all children, regardless of their physical, intellectual, social, linguistic or other conditions, and promote integration, and contact between children.

Similarly, according to Article (2) of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, state institutions must take all necessary measures in order for the child to be effectively protected from all forms of discrimination or punishment because of his position, activities, expressed opinions, or beliefs of his parents, his legal representatives, or members of his family.
