Following the abolition of the Haradinaj Government's 2008 decision, which prevented KEK workers from getting free coals, the distribution of coal for workers this Tuesday has started, and the process is expected to last about 30 days.
It's the 27th truck in a row.
Through them is carrying coal, which Kosovo Energy Corporation workers will receive as a gift.
And its distribution is being done according to age, from older workers to younger men.
The coal distribution of about three thousand and 600 workers has started this Tuesday and the money to continue for a month.
And those who keep working must first pass certain procedures to be equipped with about 10 tons of coal.
Within the day, some 120 of these trucks are planned to be supplied, and all are checked for their load.
The ban on supplying KEK's coal workers in 2018 had been severely experienced by those who worked their whole life in these mines.
The decision for workers to make coal as a gift came due to the energy crisis.
KEK chief union player Nedzat Llumnica says this coal that is distributed for workers will not cause obstacles to electricity production.
A problem of theirs for this winter was resolved, but KEK workers have a request.
Workers hope that the distribution of the coal for them will continue in the future.
