Following the mayor's decision, Smajl Latifi, the commission has been formed that has recorded and recorded damage to households, numerous family and business economies, agriculture and public infrastructure.

Latifi disclosed that in reports prepared by the commissions for assessing damage in agriculture, family economies and businesses, housing and public infrastructure, the value of total damage has been presented: 3,546,477.66 euros.

Latifi said they have applied to the Government of Kosovo for damages compensation, as such a financial burden is too heavy and affordable to the Rahoveci municipality budget.

The requests are set forth for the prime minister of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Albin Kurti and the Ministers: MBPZHR, MAPL, MMPHI, MINT, where we also wanted the budget to be set aside to compensate the damaged citizens of our municipality. As mayor of Komuna expresses my concern over the situation created as a consequence of floods and floods, I also seek support from the Government to make it easier to overcome the current situation, insisting on the compensation of the already known major damage, following the assessment of our” commissions, Latif said on Facebook.

In addition to Rahovec, the next most affected municipality was Gjakova's, but so far there has been no figure reported on the damage in this municipality.
