As N1 reports, Vuciq said Serbs from Kosovo “indicated that their vote represents Serbia's” and not for Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti. He said Kosovo's decision not to allow the holding of this “referendum to have major consequences”.

Vuciqi has been divided with even the QUINT countries and their determination to convince Kosovo government to allow the referendum to be held.

He had critical approaches to the US, Great Britain, France, Germany and Italy.

“They cannot hear criticism or sanctions against Pristina for preventing the vote in referendum”, Vucic said.

Kosovo Assembly deputies on Saturday have adopted a resolution expressing opposition to the vote for Serbia's referendum to be held in Kosovo.

With 76 votes for, none against and one abstention, the Parliament adopted the resolution during an extraordinary session called by Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

According to the resolution, holding Serbia's referendum in the Republic of Kosovo violates the sovereignty and constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo is contrary to the Constitution, the laws of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as international norms and practices.

The Kosovo government has rejected holding Serbia's referendum on Kosovo territory, calling it a violation of Kosovo's constitutional order.

The executive also faced objections from the QUINT states, which at a meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani, demanded that it be allowed to hold the referendum.
