Citaku has said Rugova will always be remembered as peaceful leader of resistance during the 1990s.
“Sixteen years ago, Kosovo lost Ibrahim Rugova, the leader of peaceful resistance during the 1990s. Let's always remember”, Chitaku wrote on a Twitter post.

Former President Ibrahim Rugova had passed away on January 21st 2006, after a serious illness.
