Through a statement, this BBC hospital said: “Taking into account the lack of available organs, we do everything we can to ensure that a patient, who gets transplanted organs, has the most likely chance of survival. ”
A hospital spokesman said this institution requires “vaxine for Covid-19 and lifestyle behavior that the transplantal candidates toė create the best likelihood of successful surgery and optimise the patient's survival after transplantation, taking into account that their immune system is drasticly reduced”.
The hospital's careful statement may suggest that there are other factors behind its disqualified transplantation, but the hospital refused to discuss specifics, citing patient privacy.
