Minister of Education Evis Kushi announced the news today through a Facebook post. The person says that in the coming days extreme temperatures are expected, which in some areas will reach 17 degrees Fahrenheit [17 ° C].
Dear students, teachers and parents! I want to announce that we have made an important decision today in the MAS concerning our school education process early next week.
According to weather projections, extremely low temperatures are expected in the coming days, which are extraordinary temperatures for a country like ours. It will even reach 17 degrees Fahrenheit [17 ° C] in some areas.
For this reason, since our absolute priority at all times is the health and well-being of our children, we have decided that schools will be closed next week, from Monday to Wednesday, and lost hours will be replaced next after a second announcement in co-operation with local educational offices.
Of course if predictions don't come true, and temperatures will be more acceptable, we will review this decision and we will be in constant communication with you, because for us the learning process is of priority.
Dear parents!
Please make arrangements for you and your children so that we can get through these difficult winter days as easily as possible.
Thank you very much for your understanding” writes Kush.
