To understand how much energy you spend, the Energy Regulatory Office has published a sign with monthly bills paying consumers, depending on the energy they spend.
The first category is consumers who spend up to 300 kWh of electricity. Monthly bills for these kinds of consumers are around 19 euros.
In the second category are consumers who spend up to 450 kWh of energy. They pay around 28 euros a month for the energy spent.
In the third category, consumers who spend up to 600kWh of energy are being billed about 36 euros for one month.
The fourth category included consumers who spend up to 800 kWh. So far these consumers have paid about 47 euros a month, but with Z proposal. The RREA and after the government's subsidy, will pay about 60 euros.

For these consumers, energy will be expensive for 12 euros and 31 cents.
The fifth category includes consumers who spend a thousand kWh of electricity. Monthly bills for them so far have been around 59 euros, while with Z's proposal The RHREA has to pay about 83 euros, which is worth 24 euros and 62 cents more.
How are consumers classified?
The consumer who spends 300 kWh/months is estimated to be a consumer who spends the energy needed to cover essential needs for a four-member family. During the year, 20.5% of consumers do not pass this threshold in a month, according to the ZRRE. These consumers get into category A.
The 450kWh/month consumer represents the average consumption of a household consumer over the year. Based on KED's data, average consumption (from 2012 to 2020) from households that spend over 300 kWh/months is~ 460 kWh/months. Average consumption in 2021 for household consumers who spend over 300 kWh of electricity is about 440 kWh/months. During the year, 44% of consumers do not pass this threshold in a month. These consumers get into category B.
The 600kWh/month consumption consumer shows minimal consumption of a consumer with electricity heat during the winter, based on analyses during the bloc's deployment on previous tariffs, 69% of consumers do not pass this threshold in a month during the year, and 79% of consumers do not cross this level during summer months. These consumers get into category C.
The 800 kWh/month consumption consumer presents a consumer with consumption over the proposed bloc. These consumers get into category D.
The 1000kWh/month consumer represents a consumer with higher electricity consumption. These consumers get into category E.
When will these tariffs begin to apply?
Under the Energy Regulatory Office proposal, new electricity tariffs, if approved, will begin to apply on February 1st.
These fees will be applicable by 31 March 2023.

According to the ZRREA proposal, the fee for consumers with 800 kWh of electricity spent monthly will rise to 13.31 euros, while consumers who spend 1,000 kWh per month will face a 24.62-euro electricity price increase.
