Austria's Chancellor, Carl Nehammer, has resulted in positive COVID-19 during Friday and is in quarantine.
Nehammer, through a Twitter post, has reportedly been infected with Corleone by a member of his security team until he has announced that he will continue to carry out all his government duties through video connections.
He's been vaccinated with all three doses and hasn't actually shown any symptoms.
The Austrian Chancellor has been infected at the time when the country is facing an increase in the number of cases, following the spread of the Omitron version.
The number of new daily cases in Austria this week has reached the highest infection figures in the past two months.
A plan to make vaccines mandatory against COVID-19 from February has been blocked Friday, as the agency implementing that measure said its systems will not be ready until April.
