By one January this year, new tariffs per cubic metre of water have been implemented in some of Kosovo's cities.
The water for the most expensive cent will be paid at the end of this month to consumers of the Regional Water Company “Pristina”, CRU “Gjakova”, meanwhile, those of the CRU “Bifurcacion” will pay 2 cents more.
According to data published by the Regulatory Authority, there has been only increase in drinking water tariffs, until there has been a two - cent drop in non-house water.
Meanwhile, changes to the bill will not have CRRU consumers “Hedrodrin” in Pec, CRU “Mitrovica” of the “South Health” in Prizren.
According to data from the Kosovo Statistics Agency, a citizen spends about 90 liters of water a day.

The Ujman Lake of Zubin Potok, Batlava in Podujevo, Badoci in Pristina, Radoniqi in Gjakova and Perlepnica in Gjilan, along with the Drini White Rivers at Dukagjini Plain, Ibri in Mitrovica, Morava of Binca in Anamorevo and Lepenci in the south, are some of the main drinking water sources in Kosovo.
