The meeting for the chairman's election will be held at 10:00.
On January 7th, it takes place a month since Kosovo's Rama has been sworn in as head of the Pristina municipality. Also, on the same day, members of the Municipal Assembly have been sworn in.
Under the Law on Local Governance, the leader must be elected within 30 days after the Communist Assembly members are sworn in.
If the election of head of the Municipal Assembly fails, then there will be extraordinary elections in the capital for the Communist Assembly..
