The lifeless bodies of 10 people have been found by Mexican authorities in the middle of a town located near the governor's office and linked to decorative lights for the Christmas tree.
Authorities immediately launched investigations, and 2 persons allegedly brought in the car with lifeless bodies have been arrested so far.
Zacateca State Governor David Montreal says that significant traces of violence were found on the victims' bodies.
The public security agency said in a statement that government officials found the car -- a Mazda -- after noticing a suspicious vehicle moving to the area. The federal security ministry said there were 10 troops inside.
Montreal also added that security has been a major challenge in Zacatecas and committed itself to continuing to reduce violence.
