AAK Parliamentary Group chief Besnik Tahiri has said that Kurti Government is either unable to manage the energy crisis situation, or there is corruption.

Moreover, he has said that this is “that it hurts” since it's decoupling “classic display” of rising energy prices.

Tahiri has said that if the case goes to the Constitutional Court it will fall because, according to him, this is classic discrimination against citizens when certain categories pay for others.

“2nd matters for a deeper analysis. If we've all known about the energy crisis in 10 months, if there's been official communication of COST, KEDS with this government, which we've seen those letters. If each state has taken preliminary steps to buy energy, if Albania in summertime has had a crisis and has been begging from Kosovo, then it could have been linked to a bilateral agreement. Now it's a bit of a conspiracy question, how did this anger get into this situation? For my assessment there are two situations, so either we're dealing with the inability to manage a crisis that has been global and regional, or we're dealing with corruption”.

Even if we see how it came to decision-making. Immediately after the statement that has given it that electricity is cheap and expensive, there has immediately been a communication with the ERE from private operators to raise energy fees. Classic synchronization from Government. Then, the report went to the Ministry of Economy, and instead of consulting within the government and with the prime minister, it took it as something done in public and then came to the Assembly”.

Tahiri at Rubikon said he would use all democratic mechanisms to counter the expensive flow.
