With the increase in transmission and potentially milder symptoms, the omitron variant has a shorter period of incubation compared with delta and other versions of the coronary virus, reports the report. Baptist Health.
Symptoms of other coronary variants appear on average five days after infection.
The study is published in the CDC weekly report on disease and mortality.
The study included six people from the same families suspected of being infected, of whom only one person was completely vaccinated.
After the genomic sequence of samples, it was found that everyone was infected with the omitron version.
CDC later confirmed that the symptoms appeared after three days.
The Norwegian Institute of Public Health also analyzed the symptoms of 111 people attending a Christmas party.
Most were completely vaccinated, and 73 percent were positive of omitron.
No one became seriously ill, and the symptoms appeared within three days.
