A large winter storm, followed by snow and ice in parts of the United States and Canada, has faced over 80 million people with weather warnings.
More than 145,000 people are without electricity in several southern and eastern regions.
Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina have declared a state of emergency.
The U.S. Weather Service has said that some regions are expected to have over 20 inches [30 cm] of snow.

More than 3,000 flights within and outside the United States have been cancelled on Sunday, according to the website monitoring flights, FlightAare.
Charlotte Douglas Airport in North Carolina has been affected the worst, with nearly 90 percent of canceled flights.
