Selmanaj tells why he abstained: Kurti seriously violated communication with QUINT countries

He says that he did so for three reasons, citing that today's session was unnecessary and the substanceless.

There is never a need for the Assembly to meet to remember and recall the constitutional duties other institutions have. Constitutional duties for the prime minister, president and Parliament are written and defined by the Constitutions, they must be implemented under obligation by all, without having to recall to each other”, Selmanaj has said.

Second reason:

Furthermore, LDK deputy said that as the second reason for his abstention, it is that the session called by Prime Minister Kurti today was to distribute part of the decision-making responsibility by, as he calls it, his incompatible to make decisions in line with constitutional obligations.

“The lack of his integrity to make decisions, put the Republic of Kosovo Assembly” into his circus completely meaninglessly, Selmanaj has been expressed, conveys Kankosova.tv.

While, as the third reason for the abstained vote, Selmanaj said it is the way to manage this situation in response to Kosovo's strategic partners, with particular emphasis on the US.

It is the first time in Kosovo's new history that all QUINT countries turn against us. This indicates that Albin Kurti and his men have seriously affected communication and cooperation with them. The consequences of this lack of co-operation will be seen in the days and months ahead. I have the conviction that this is only the beginning of”, is Selmanj expressed.

In the end, he said that Kosovo's sovereignty and integrity should be protected at all costs and preserve good relations with Aletat.
