Rukiqi raises the alarm: The year 2022 is going to be challenging, so it's going to repeat diaspora transfusion as in 2021.

Economic Ode Chairman Berat Rukiqi, through a writing, has raised the alarm for the economic crisis that is expected to engulf Kosovo. According to him, the economic crisis during 2022 will even be deeper than that of the preceding year. Despite the number of active cases with Avid-19, during the past summer, the Kosovo government allowed wedding and other activities in the field of gastronomy.
As a result, Kosovo's economy grew after spending that made the diaspora during the summer, and new cases and cases of deaths from Covid-19 increased, affecting record figures in Kosovo.
Singer Africa Muciqi, on the DPS show at Fidan in T7, said less than a month ago that in the following year, the gastronomy sector lost more than 1 billion euros.
This probably will not happen this summer, according to Berat Rukiqit chairman of the Economic Ode. The second reason, according to Rukiqi, is “the long end”, when we have problems with electricity supply and its high price.
The arrival of exiles for the final festivals of the year also brought increased cases of Covid-19. Kosovo, the isolated state that stood well with the number of cases in the region, reported today that 1,000 and 251 active cases.

The year 2022 will be much more challenging than 2021, economically, for some reasons:
1. It won't repeat the summer of 2021, which was the main infusion for many enterprises (coming from the diaspora), consumed by pandemic; Consumption will mark decline, therefore economic growth rate will be in decline.
2. This winter is going to be the longest “to be” that others, taking into account problems with the supply and energy prices and increased prices in almost all of the first issues and final products, from the categories of products that we import.
3. Unpredictableness with pandemics will continue to bring stubborn attention to the private sector. The private sector still doesn't understand what the value of vaccination is with two and three doses, unless the same guarantee freedom of action and doing business activity. Any measure of pandemic control, I have to limit the unexploited, not those who the most zealous restored the call for inoculation.
4. The problem with the workforce will increase. The failure to find a certain point is like an increase to all sectors. If this problem continues, we will have serious problems with the competitiveness of export and invasion.
Government, Parliament and all institutions should be open to dialogue with the private sector, addressing these topics, but many other issues of vital importance for the development of the country.
