Kurti said Kosovo is in energy crisis due to the price of energy on the international energy stock exchange.

Because on the one hand, energy prices have been very expensive on the international energy stock market, and on the other hand, we've had more than two decades of extortion in KEK, and not only, and no investment in new capacities, and the maintenance of existing ones that would not allow us to be in this serious situation”, Kurti stated.

Otherwise, today the deadline for giving comments on the consultative report presenting the positions of the Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE) for restructuring the tariffs needed to meet the purchase costs of electricity and restore consumer supply.
Z proposal The RRE is to increase the electricity price for consumers who spend over 600kWh per month, while those who spend up to 800kWh or more will not help either the government's subvention of 75m euros. Z The RRE proposes that the fee for consumers with 800kWh of electricity spent monthly will rise to 13.31 euros, while those spending 1,000kwh will face an increase of 24.62 euros.
