UN reacts after Kosovo declared “grata” to Russian UNMIK official

The United Nations organisation has issued a statement after Kosovo declared the <x0non grant” to a Russian official of the United Nations Co-ordination Administration Mission in Kosovo, UNMIK.
UN Secretary General Stephanie Dujaric's spokesman said UNMIK has accepted no official communication from Kosovo institutions on the decision. The UN considers it unintenable “is granting” to the Russian official.
We have been informed of the personals not grenades of a member of the United Nations Mission staff in Kosovo, UNMIK. No communication has been accepted in the Mission by Kosovo authorities as regards this announcement. The doctrine of the persona no grant is not applicable to UN personnel and is not envisioned under UNMIK regulation 2000/47 (on KFOR status, privileges and immunitys, UNMIK and their personnel in Kosovo --”, said in response.
Any issue concerning UNMIK personnel, according to the UN, should be addressed to this mission to handle it on its own.
“Any concern over a member of UNMIK personnel should be addressed to the mission leadership so that UNMIK can address this issue in line with the status, privileges and immunity of UNMIK and its personnel”, the statement said.
“U n The NMIC and the UN headquarters are taking adequate measures to ensure staff safety on the basis and are dealing with relevant authorities in this matter”, the UN Secretary General's spokesman reportedly says at the end of Stephanie Dujarric's issued statement.
On December 31st, Foreign Affairs Minister Donika Grovalla has declared “non grata” a Russian official of the UNMIK mission.
“Today, Foreign Minister Donika Grovalla has proclaimed person non grata a Russian UNMIK official with offices in Pristina. Kosovo stands with its allies to act against harmful acts that endanger Kosovo's national security and constitutional order”, the MPJD report said.
An international official, inside UNMIK, with P.T. initials. has revealed that the Russian official of UNMIK, Andrey Nikolaevich Antonov, who was today declared “persona non grata” from the Republic of Kosovo, has been in charge of work at the UNMIK branch in northern Mitrovica and is putting pressure on Serbian political structures to take radical actions.
