Rama: I feel proud that Albania guarantees electricity for Kosovo

Rama said that Kosovo today is in the grip of a crisis, which for objective reasons, according to him, is stuck by these claws and is in conditions when it must choose between drastic restrictions and price hikes. I'm so glad we're able today not only to guarantee energy for the country [...]

I am very pleased to be able today not only to guarantee energy for our country, but to do so not only without energy restrictions, but also without price hikes and to give Kosovo the possibility that the two days they spend the years that are a holiday have the constant power supply. It's not an easy thing at all, but I think that in large schools and joys we should share with Kosovo what we have”, Rama said.

Prime Minister Rama also showed the stated ambition within this decade, that is, within Albania's vision of 2030 Albania to switch to Neto energy exporter.

We're going to do it by increasing our capacities, solving Vlora's dramatic waste problem with water when we're not able to store water for dry days, finally working on a new scheme and with a large American company TEC, increasing water production capacity where we're assessing a major project that will significantly increase the” capacities, Rama added further.

According to him, all of this will lead Albania on the road to an age-old transformation in terms of the electro-Energy sector.
