He has said the citizen was confident Kurti would lower the electricity price once he took over the government following the recent February 14th parliamentary elections.
“He tried to convince me that the right man to vote on is Mr. Albin Kurti, I asked him to reason with me. He claimed Kurt was going to fight crime, corruption, visa liberalisation, while in the end he got the current on us for free. So he said he promised now we're almost free of electricity, plus with the prime minister's promise, just like the air, so we'll have the power issue”.
Afterward, Quinn declared that he had not known before that Kurt was an engineer with a profession and that he understood this from his conversation with the citizen. He criticised Kurt for the country's energy crisis.
I never believed I'd ever have to talk to you about energy issues, especially when the prime minister comes out of this” field, Quinn said.
