Protest organiser for stream: Opposition parties wanted to join, rejected

Dibro Hoxha, host of today's protest against the expensive electricity, has said there have been demands by some opposition parties to join in today's protest, but, according to him, they have refused, as they are under political clothing. But Hoxha said she would accept that they would participate as citizens. [...]
We have had several demands that some opposition parties join us, but we are a group of civil society activists and we have flatly refused them as long as they are within political parties, if they come in the role of citizens without party umbrellas then we accept them. Neither have we been willing to co-operate with them, because even the opposition in some form is guilty of being in this situation”, Hoxha said in Klan Kosova.
He said this protest would be organised by civil society, so he said he believes that citizens will join it after affecting their lives.
Meanwhile, he added that they have not had any contact with the government, so this protest also comes to show their opposition to this proposal.
We haven't had contact with the government for that we've staged a protest, because the protest is the only democratic means through exit to protest, we let the government know we're against the expensive flow. We don't have contact and I don't know if we need to have contact because they're just going to look positioned and it seems like he's already decided to approve the power price hike”, he said.
The protest will be held at “Zahir Pajaziti” Square at 12:00 p.m.
