The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has announced it is considering the possibility of organising protests to counter the expensive warning electricity.
AAK's “chairmanship has estimated that the price hikes at this time are incompatible. While the country's north does not pay at all for energy, it is unfair to raise prices for the rest of the citizens, where households and businesses hit.”, the party has said.
Periscopi has contacted the other opposition party, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), to ask whether they will participate in the protest against expensive electricity.
The head of the LDK Parliamentary Group in the Kosovo Assembly, Arben Gashi, for Periscope has said the decision will be made at party chairmanship.
It's a decision made at the party's chairmanship”, Gashi has said.
Likewise, Periscope has tried to take even a stance of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), but so far have no response from this party.
And new tariffs proposed by the ERE have been rejected by other parties and unions.
Whether this proposal will pass is unknown, but we pray that it will not happen and that Albin Kurti of 2019 will return to the scene./Periscopi/
