Presevo Mayor: Kosovo government has not responded to us after we reacted to the measures

Presevo Mayor Ardita Sinani has said on the T7 Pressing show that she has written to the Government of Kosovo to review anti-Convidian measures because she is obstructing the free movements of Albanians of this three. She said there were times when people turned from the border because they didn't [...]
She has said there have been cases when people have returned from the border because they have not had financial access to the test, and there hasn't been time to take the anti-Condivus vaccine.
The Kosovo government's recent decision on anti-Condavid measures has affected the aspect of freedom of movement and the financial aspect of Kosovo. A number of students and another number working and doing business in Kosovo have been affected by these measures. Despite the number of vaccines, which is a satisfying achievement, as far as the third dose has been required, is not a large number. This has not yet been enough time for this vaccine to be taken. It takes a test to cross the border. Now the extra cost is to test. We have asked the Kosovo government to review the” decision, she has said.
She says they wrote to the Kosovo government and did not receive answers, but will try again tomorrow to reach consensus.
So far we haven't received any answers but tomorrow they're going to ask for paperwork again to review this decision. It's a very damaging decision. There are citizens who have returned. But those who work or study are obliged because of jobs to go to Kosovo. They are obliged to pay the PCR test and there are cases that have not had means and are forced to return”, Sinani added.
Sinan has also said that the example of European states, which have separate measures for specific regions, should be followed, so that there are separate measures between Kosovo and the Presevo Valley.
There is an example to follow. We like the Presevo Valley have a lot of problems with official Belgrade, and now these recent obstacles from Kosovo will hurt us a lot of”, he concluded.
