A woman held in custody at Ferizaj has set fire to mattresses and cover in her cell.
Police have suggested that the fire department has gone to the scene and put out the fire.
The police unit has been deported immediately and then distributed suspects to other detention centres.
“Rr. Recak, Ferizaj 14.01.2022 8:00. It is reported that the alleged Kosovo female woman, who was banned in the detention centre, has set fire to mattresses and cover in her cell. Police units have been deported immediately and made the evacuation of all persons who were detained in the detention centre, then suspects have been sent to other detention centres. The fire departments are on the scene and have extinguished the fire. In the case, the state prosecutor has consulted, the case continues to be investigated”, the report said.
