A 58-year-old man died in the town of Beelez, near Berlin's mayor on Saturday evening, after an electric pole fell over him while walking with his partner, local media reported quoting police.
The fall of a wood has injured a footman in the northern town of Bremen, until a motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash on a fallen tree in Pomerania region.
Winds have also hampered long - distance train services on Saturday and Sunday in north and east Germany, in Berlin, Bremen, and Hamburg respectively.
Berlin Firefighters have been urging residents to stay in homes after reporting powerful winds.
Weather services have warned Sunday that powerful winds will spread south of Germany.
