Half a million people flew from Kosovo for three months

Kosovo Statistics Agency has published “Transport and Telecommunications Statistics for the fourth quarter of 2021, with data on Air Transport, Hekurudhor, Rrugor and Telecommunications.

As for the number of flights in the fourth quarter of 2021, there is an increase compared to the last three months of 2020 for 46%.

The number of travelers who have used the plane as a transport vehicle is about 555, which, in proportion to TM4 2020, is up by 47%.

Meanwhile, in October, November and December, the number of passengers who used the train as a travel tool was about 16, 000, and compared to the fourth quarter of 2020, the number of passengers has increased by 7%.

Transport of goods by train already stands at about 30,000 tonnes.

On Kosovo's territory, there are a total of 333km of railway rails for transport.
