Chairman PDK, Memli Krasniqi, has suggested that his party has sent no comment to the ERE.
He says it is becoming the cause that the PDK has continued to publicise attitudes about the expensive flow.
Krasniqi writes:
Today, the deadline for giving formal comments to the Energy Regulatory Office's proposal regarding the expensive supply of electricity ends. The Democratic Party of Kosovo has sent no comment on this issue at the address of the ERE, because we have made them public over and over again.
We consider that beyond formal comments, sir. THREE in its decision must be made on the basis of all public dictatorships, political attitudes and civic moods regarding the demand for electricity price hikes.
As a political party, we have consistently warned that there will be an energy crisis in Kosovo, and in public presentations we have expressed our stance against rising energy prices. We have also invited extraordinary sessions in the Kosovo Assembly, where we have given our proposals, and we have offered professional arguments along the discussions of the Parliamentary Commission for Economics, Industry, Interventor and Trade.
We consider that setting up an energy price bloc on the part of the ERR is the wrong act that unjustly treats most citizens, and as such is the political decision influenced by the Government of Kosovo, which will further burden the pocket of Kosovo citizens.
Similarly, the growth warned by RER 42 percent total, which for many consumers will rise to over 100%, is unprecedented, unnecessary, and unreasonable.
Even worse, Z proposal THREE does not include municipalities in the north of the country, which also pay no energy. This division is illegal and unfair to other citizens of the Republic of Kosovo. Beyond that, it is a danger that advances autonomyist tendencies in the country's north.
Kosovo government has responsibility for any decision on determining the price of electricity that Z will take THREE and any reasoning is only in the function of fleeing this responsibility.
The PDK will reject any decision to raise the price of energy at this stage, exploiting all legal instruments available.
