Pacolli for developments in Kazakhstan: Mabetex workers are well, riots are organised by external factor

In the town of Almaty, Kazakhstan, several days have sparked violent protests as a result of dissatisfaction with the rising price of fuel. As international media reports report, as a result of clashes between the military and protesters have remained dozens of deaths from the two sides. But what is the security situation of Kosovars that [...]

But what is the security situation of Kosovars working there?

In a response to the Express Journal, the head of the AKR and owner of the “Mabetex Group”, says the state of its workers is good. He has shown that there are no riots in the cities where Kosovo workers work.

“The workers are fine, it's starting to work after the holiday end of the year. In the cities where we work there's no riot”, Pacolli told Express.

Meanwhile, a Kosovo worker around the 20th has told Radio Free Europe they are concerned about the situation that was created in Kazakhstan.

He said they're closed and that the company has brought them passports and that they've told them they have a vacation tomorrow.

Pacolli, who is known for his friendship and closeness with former Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbyev alludes that the riots in the Asian state are being organised by an external factor and, according to him, such a thing is extremely obvious.

“Trazies are organised by the external factor, this is more than visible”, the Pacolli has managed.

Kazakhstan has been experiencing the biggest protests since its declaration of independence 30 years ago.

A sudden increase in car fuel prices early in the year triggered the first protests in a remote oil city in the west. But tens of thousands of protesters who have since been on the streets in many cities now stand in the eye of the entire authoritarian government.

Such destabilisation of the situation has caused concern for Kazaxani's immediate neighbours: Russia and China, with which it develops the biggest trade.

Meanwhile, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has fired the entire government early Wednesday. This is meant to calm protesters.

By the end of the day, however, he had changed his attitude. First, he described demonstrators as terrorists. He then called on a military alliance led by Russia, Organisation of the Kolecative Security Treaty, for help in suppressing the protest. After that, Russian troops have landed in Kazakhstan.

Meanwhile, Kazakhstan police have said some protesters are “eliminated” overnight in the largest city of state, Almati, when they have attempted to enter administrative buildings, while national riots have escalated.

Of the five Central Asian republics that gained independence after the breakup of the Soviet Union, Kazakhstan is by far the largest and richest. It lies in a territory the size of Western Europe and is located on top of huge oil reserves, natural gas, uranium, and precious metals. /
