In a media communiqué, OAK considers that until the holiday days that fall on weekends, to be replaced by vacations during working days, Article 4 of the Law for Official Festivals, under which “when official holiday days in Article 2 of this law fall on Saturday or Sunday, vacation days will be the following working days”, have damaged and damaged the country in financial and international terms.
OAK requires that official holidays not be replaced by working days in cases when they fall during weekend days, but that the holiday is only the day that is a day off.
OAK also wants to be celebrated but not on holiday: April 9, Constitution Day, May 9, Europe Day.
OAK also wants communities' holidays to be holiday days for these categories, but not for the entire country.
OAK, it remains hopeful that these recommendations will be taken into account in order to contribute to the increase in working days and increased investment arrivals from Europe, much needed for the country with the largest unemployment in the continent and smaller per capita income in Europe. kp
