Nutrellary: Kurti government again humiliated Albania's citizens, preventing them from entering Kosovo

Headship Member PDK, Adri Nurellari, has reacted sharply today to the Kosovo Government's decision, which has decided not to allow Albania's citizens to enter Kosovo without a test PCR, whether it has two doses of vaccine

Nurellai said Kosovo government led by Albin Kurti today repeated painful and humiliating scenes of return to the borders of the citizens of the Republic of Albania

He has written on his Facebook page that the populist Vetvendosje Party and its charismatic leader Kurti have built up the opposition career by being called into national union, but when he is in power it does the exact opposite against the countrymen.

Today, the painful and humiliating scene of the return to the citizens of the Republic of Albania by the Kosovo authorities was repeated. The Republic of Kosovo government yesterday afternoon has approved new austerity measures for combating Pandemia, which I have applied immediately for a few hours later, giving citizens no time to be informed, adapt or take measures to avoid this offensive situation of blocking the border.

The populist Party Vetevendosje and its charismatic leader Kurti has built up the opposition career by being called into national union, but when it is in power it does exactly the opposite against the countrymen. With this attitude toward the citizens of the Republic of Albania and the rest of the nation, Kurt points to his deep hypocrisy and proves that patriotism has only been used as an electoral instrument.

Western developed countries that have established this strict rule for foreign citizens crossing their borders are counted by fingers. This is an excessive and unreasonable demand, as both Kosovo and Albania, the third vaccine has begun to administer it in early December -- just a few weeks ago. So even if citizens wanted to take the third dose, they would be impossible because they haven't spent enough months on second dose.

This decision is a repeat of the same disregard for the Republic of Albania during Kurti's first governing mandate two years ago. During the first months of pandemic, he completely closed the border with Albania, while leaving it fully open with Serbia. All remember how he handed over sovereignty over some part of Belgrade's territory and population by allowing hundreds of Serbian officials to enter Kosovo and care for Kosovo citizens of Serbian nationality. As Kosovo Serbs were treated in Vranje, Nis and Belgrade hospitals and were allowed to enter and leave Kosovo border freely, the border with Albania remained blocked.
