So has the Kosovo Police, which have carried out the action together with Kosovo Customs.
Finance Minister Hekuran Murati, who has confirmed that 272 equipment seized in Leposaviq, also spends electricity on an average of 500 homes.
Murati has written on Facebook that this means that the equipment spends electricity worth 60 thousand to 120 thousand euros a month.
“272 Antminer equipment was confiscated this morning in a Customs and Police operation in the northern part of the country. These devices, if left to work indefinitely, spend approximately 300,000 kWh of electricity, or average spending 500 homes. At current import prices, it will drop 60,000-1250,000 euros per month. That's what we're talking about when we're saying we can't allow the illegal enrichment of some at the expense of taxpayers”, Murati wrote.
Otherwise, the government of Kosovo has decided to ban the production of cryptova peaces across the country after the energy crisis.
