In the tragic event in Glinda, near Hamburg, the man killed his two sons, injured his wife, and then killed himself.
The interrogation was only brief and will continue, a spokeswoman for Lübeck's public prosecutor said Tuesday, Rtl reports.
The 38-year-old woman was the only one who survived her 44-year-old husband's attack. According to investigators' findings, the 44-year-old has only killed his 11-year-old and 13-year-old boys with one shot at late-night hours. The woman was severely injured and was rushed to the hospital and temporarily placed in an artificial coma.
In all, the man had pressed the trigger at least eight times, as evidence of the forensic investigation shows. The shooting sequence is still under investigation. It turns out the 44-year-old had no arms license. The motive is still unclear.
