Chairman The PSD, Dardan Moliqaj, said it took responsibility and expressed regret over the slap a member of police during last Saturday's protest, despite, according to him, the unfair and incorrigible situation by the police.
At a news conference, he said no one has invited him and that he has been in the apartment all day and that no one has ever been there with an invitation. Before the media, he added that there is more political noise in the job than in justice.
They put a video in the media, then they're starting procedures on me, and then public pressure says I'm somewhere else. I didn't accept the invitation and I don't know what they're talking about. Kosovo police are facing opposition”.
Police have acted politically. The police invited me to negotiate. I've been taken by two commanders, and with both of them, the cop has hit me and picked me up. Why isn't the whole video being published where I see the moment I hit the cop, why the video has been published with effects, slowed down. Why the police did not react to my move. Why did they let me go down? Because both leaders rebuked the police who attacked me when I was going to negotiate”.
“polica has failed, if there is an investigation of police, it will turn out police have failed. On the basis of standards and assessments made, when a cordon is established, it cannot be negotiated, and any negotiation is a political decision, and police have no right to negotiate. We have been dragged, pushed, attacked, and reviled, and finally accepted our decision. There's selective justice”, Molly's done.
