(4 years ago)Serbian List Chairman Goran Rakic has spoken to the media after meeting with President Aleksandar Vuciq, who has said he believes the EU will fulfil its promise Sunday that Serbia's referendum will be held in Kosovo. We believe in the EU, but we will see on Sunday if it will fulfil [...] promises.
“We believe in the EU, but we will see on Sunday whether to fulfil its promises. The EU and the five QUINT states have issued statements and clearly told authorities in Pristina that the referendum will be held in Kosovo”, Rakic said.
Rakic has said EULEX will show his face Sunday.
“In Pristina oppose the Balkan Open, now they are not allowing us to go to the EU, this is the step Brussels is looking for. The opening of chapters and referendum is being held since the EU is looking for it. We ask the EU to go from words to actions. On Sunday, EULEX-I will display his face”, Rakic said after the meeting.
At the Serbian List meeting with President Vuciq has also attended the deputy chairman of this subject, Milan Radojicic, recently sanctioned by the US Treasury Department.
