The Minister of Foreign and Diaspora, Donika Grovalla, has come up with a long status on Facebook to show what is happening in the dictatorship she relates. At the end of the message, Gervala says that change in Kosovo is going on somewhere slowly, but it is unstoppable.

She says some illegal decisions of this ministry will be abolished, as she has said, to restore legitimacy and justice missing in this institution.

The minister says they have found numerous legal violations that have been committed in recent years.

The drills away have added that the ministry she leads and itself has faced much criticism.

Meanwhile, she has also told of an anonymous case where, as she claims, a person who is supposed to be an employee of this ministry had complained about the request she had made “to stop practicing meaningless and expensive trips abroad”.

“During the conversation realizes that the personal loan this person had received at the bank was nearly double that of his salary and was paid in the past by calculating at the hire”, Gervala indicated.

This is post:

Dear friends,

After a very intensive phase of identifying not only weaknesses but also the potential for reform within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, we have now entered the final phase of fusion of the former Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the former Ministry of Diaspora, fusion that the government has failed to complete during its previous mandate.

In the context of MPJD reshuffle, we are on the verge of implanting new internal regulation, which will enable better and more effective operation of this institution. I feel very proud of all those numerous officials, within the two ministries and abroad in diplomatic missions, who with their devotion, passion and zeal, with personal integrity and professionalism working hard every day to strengthen Kosovo's position on the international stage. Without them all this enormous task would not have been possible.

We've examined the many legal violations of recent years. We're going to abolish one by one all illegal decisions, finally bringing back the legitimacy and justice missing from this institution.

We'll open new competitions based on transparent professional criteria to enrich it. MPJD with well-qualified diplomats in order to create a solid and promising professional team for the future of our diplomacy. In conversation with real professionals both inside and abroad, we will continue to redefine professional criteria for qualifications and appointment, and we will not employ people who do not meet the basic standards needed to serve our country abroad or inside.

We'll put the degrees on legal track by rewarding work and professionalism, not party, clan or family affiliation.

We have already audited the various sectors of the ministry and are now in the phase of implementing the audience's recommendations. Other important audits will follow. So we have functional staff office, we have stopped violations during appointments, misuse of public money, and meaningless contracts and tenders. We have also stopped unnecessary travel by implementing rigorous control mechanisms.

Are we perfect in our work and results? Of course not.
But what we will certainly continue to do is, keep working hard to achieve the restructuring of our and MPD diplomacy, so that we can have a foreign policy far more effective than in recent years.

Dear friends,

All these measures I have not expected to pass without debate and attempts to scandalise the establishment of legitimacy in the MPJD.

Over the last few days, weeks and months, it's hard to escape „different news about „Basies“of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, and especially to me as head of this institution. To create the impression that these voices came from another planet yesterday and therefore marvel at the reality inherited within Kosovo institutions. “Scale of law”, “ - KLA”, “aggressive to Russia”, “not enough constructive towards Serbia”, “not enough obedient to internationals”, “the government of interns” are just some of the labels.
Let's not talk about „dramatic scandales“in Titter, shoes, hairs. Add to these threats, banal insults, low blackmail and insults not only to the MPJD, and then you can roughly see the battlefield of a strategy to slow down or even eventually stop the government in the necessary reform of institutions, in fighting corruption, organised crime and the ugly shadows of the past.

Criticising the government and its actions, against its mistakes or failures, is essential and necessary to any true democracy. True criticism, no matter how harsh or aggressive, is primarily based on fact and truth. Campaigns with completely false news, after all, more than attacks on individuals assigned are frontal attacks on truth and fact. And if truth itself is under attack, then the battle for its defense takes on a new dimension. The attacks mixed with pure lies are not the invented phenomenon in Kosovo. “Fake Nesa” has become a serious threat, even for more sustainable and more witnessed democracy than ours. The responsibility of a government is not only to care for the drafting and implementation of its policies. Much more important is its role as guarantor of the freedom and democracy of its citizens. And therefore protecting the country from attacking truth and fact, from outside or inside, is a key obligation.

It is not the first time we have witnessed our proven determination in the darkest times of Serbian occupation and in the era of holding hostage by corrupt gangs and corrupt political elites.

On the other hand, nothing is surprising about the approach of those who are losing not only privileges and money, but who are seeing every day and more that their control in our country is weakening day-to-day.

Even more complaints and screams will be heard in the coming weeks, when, under the new structure of a modern and effective Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diasporas, we will enter the process of verifying the computer, into full implementation of professional criteria and transparency to all leading positions within this ministry.

The endless storm of complaints will continue in the coming weeks. All those sent to our embassies and consulates abroad in opposition to the law, or who have not met the basic expectations of a diplomat, will return gradually to Pristina. After all those years without legitimacy, the law will eventually be applied in this area. But the rule of law is a rule of law, not a state of nepotism, endless privileges, and betrayal of their taxpayers and sweat. Thus, the quality of basic human character and professionalism will depend on whether someone will enjoy representing our proud country.

Kosovo officials at embassies, consulates and the minister at the end of the day have the law and the sovereign, the citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, the one who lives in but also abroad. Those who do not understand this basic principle, who do not realize that it is an extraordinary privilege to serve, do not deserve to serve on our diplomatic missions.

Here's an example:
Someone comes to me one day at the office and complains about my request to stop the practice of meaningless and expensive trips abroad, which serve neither diplomacy nor foreign policy goals, but are simply organized because of the wages taken. During the discussion, he realizes that the personal loan this person had taken to the bank was nearly twice as high as his salary and had been paid in the past by means of a job. You wonder what's wrong with these people who expect the taxpayers not only to pay for expensive and expensive flights and accommodation but also for their private quarters.

A measurement of the effectiveness of work in MPJD shows there is much room for improvement. The present - day practice of disrespecting time damages public finances, but it also harms all colleagues in the MPJD, who do not rarely work only during regular hours but also up to 12 hours a day to compensate for some.

Of course, those who for the first time in many years will be forced either to work as everyone else does or to leave are not happy with the changes that have taken place. Kosovo and its government face resistance from those who still think it is not a privilege to work for our proud country.

But the change in Kosovo, although somewhere still slow, is already unstoppable. One who doubts our determination to conquer evil and build the future by serving our proud Republic and its citizens. To fulfill the promise we gave and for which we were chosen. This is the way we're going together and we're not moving. Neither government nor citizens.
