A media communiqué says the Ministry of Agriculture should share funds and additional stimulating measures to survive the created situation and be competitive with the region, where additional support is being applied.
The situation is extremely alarming, and as a result of the circumstances created, we have a daily closure of farms and a reduction of the cattle fund, while on the other hand we have an increase in demand for quality milk but other basic agricultural products. The payments should be realised as quickly as the situation created in the agriculture sector” will ease, the communique concludes.
