These are the measures that enter into force today even in prisons

Kosovo's corrective service has taken some restrictive measures in prisons, following increasing cases with Covid-19. According to the SHKK's announcement, family visits, weekends for prisoners and visits to special premises will be halted.
“Stop family visits for all categories of prisoners; Stopping weekends to convict through correctional institutions; Stopting visits to separate locals”, the SHKK reported.
Meanwhile, instructions have been given for prisoners to replace activities that were banned.
They will be allowed to apply virtual communication system “Skype” to enable contact with families, according to the routine set by the institution: “Allow the additional number of phone calls during this period; Cleaning clothes to pre-prison will be organised institution”.
“From these measures are excluded: ombudsman institution; Protectors (Avicts) in cases where judgment is under way”, the announcement further states.
These measures will come into force from today.
