LVV postpones election assembly for October

Valmira Selmani of the ZRPP said they have accepted six requests from political subjects for extending election assembly deadlines due to the pandemic situation. According to her some parties have asked for two or three months of postponement, but some have required more time.
The Vetevendosje movement, which had planned its election assembly for this month, has been pushing for October, while the New Kosovo Alliance has been pushing for next month.
Florian Dashi of the LDK said the Legal Council has considered these requirements legitimate and based.
Dushi said that each demand has yet another deadline for when they envision these political parties to hold the electoral assemblies.
In 2022 there are 14 political party electoral assemblies scheduled to be held, even in 2021, The CEC has approved political parties' demands for delaying the holding of the electoral assemblies, due to the pandemic situation.
