The inability to manage electricity has cost Kosovo a total of 115m euros without investing anything. The government has provided no ideas for resolving the energy problem”, he said.
On Monday, Energy Regulatory Office ( ZRERE has published a consultative report under the extraordinary review that it has been made to change electricity barriers.
Given the Kosovo Government's pledge that it will allocate 75m euros to ease the impact of the energy crisis on tariffs, ZRE says there is no need for increased electricity prices for consumers who spend up to 600kWh of electricity per month. ZRRE has proposed that electricity prices rise for consumers who spend over 600kWh per month, while those who spend up to 800 kWh or more will not help either the government's subsidy.
