He has written on Twitter that along with US Special Emissar for the Western Balkans Gabriel Escobar, they have held a meeting with President Vjosa Osmani today on the first day of their visit to Kosovo.

“Other than that, we agreed on the need to speed up the work of whiteling the fate of missing persons”, wrote the Slovak diplomat.

The issue of the dead has been part of the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia in Brussels. In September 2020, Kosovo delegation officials had declared an agreement for the unemployed has been reached with Serbia. But they had not clarified the details of the agreement.

In June of last year, Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said the issue of the missing is an open wound and that it is important to open Serbia's state archives.

Otherwise, more than 1600 people have been considered undiscovered since the war in Kosovo.
