Prime Minister Albin Kurti said January is the month of pain in Albanian history.
He cited the death of national hero Skenderbehu in 1468, the murder of Isa Boletin 1916, the death of Ismail Kemal 1919, the fall of Rexhep Mala and Nuh Berisha 1984, the 1999 massacre in Recak, all were likely in January.
