Prime Minister Albin Kurti in an interview for Tv Klan says they are willing to do so even during 2022, but that depends on Serbia.
“A will have such an agreement depends much more on Serbia than on Kosovo, since we are ready. The agreement that does not mean as the center of content mutual recognition, of course, is not acceptable to us, but is also not useful to anyone”.
He has said that with the reach of the final agreement, both states would benefit, since the process of integrating these two countries into the European family would be accelerated.
Serbia wants to continue the European path, but I can't do this without accepting Kosovo and on the other side Kosovo wants both European and Euro-Atlantic integration, and for that we need a full normalisation with Serbia”.
But for Prime Minister Kurti, Serbia has dilemmas concerning its integration in Be.
Serbia has dilemmas as it has free trade agreements with Russia, buys arms from Russia, and is part of the Eurasian Economic Union, Gazprom has 50% of the oil industry in Serbia and also 51% of the largest gas basin in Banaski Vor in Vojvodina, so they have dilemmas while we are clear on our European and Euro-Western path”.
Kosovo next year according to Prime Minister Albin Kurti will apply for candidate country status. /tvclean
